• E&R Education and Research Roles focused on research and teaching, including academic senior management. e.g., Professor · Lecturer · Research Fellow · Teaching Fellow → UCU
• MSA Management, Specialist and Administration Support for staff and students through administration, policy work, specialist advice, or project management. e.g., HR Manager · Course Administrator · Subject Librarian · Careers Adviser → UCU / UNISON / Unite
• OFS Operational and Facilities Support Day-to-day services that keep the University running — residential, catering, cleaning, security, sports, and other site services. e.g., Cleaner · Porter · Security Officer · Electrician → UNISON / Unite
• T&E Technical and Experimental Technical and scientific support for research and teaching. e.g., Laboratory Technician · IT Support Officer · Experimental Officer · Engineering Apprentice → UNISON / Unite
